Karen Fuller, M.Ed, is a "Learning Coach" and owner of Ah-ha! Learning, an organization committed to helping students achieve success in school. Using the Learning Style Analysis™ (LSA) to discover how the student learns best, Karen works with the individual to address identified learning strengths and weaknesses. Services range from a simple on-line assessment and interpretation of a student's learning profile to provision of a customized resource package, specific to the learner's needs. To support those parents who wish to minimize "homework stress", on-going coaching is available to students who need additional support. In a school setting, Ah-ha! Learning provides affordable LSA profiling for individuals, and classes, as well as teacher orientation and training sessions. Class profiles are available at no extra fee. Learn in Style is a New Brunswick learning consultancy owned and operated by Ian Patrick (BA. MEd) who brings 35+ years of experience to the table as a teacher, counselor and principal at the elementary and middle levels. He is also an education instructor at UNB (St. John). Ian loves the world of ideas and Learn in Style allows him to apply some of those ideas in a way that helps you better understand yourself.
Learn in Style provides an assessment system that focuses on capabilities
- what people can do rather than what they can't. The assessment materials
that we use fill that need excellently. The associated reports are immediate,
comprehensive and very positive in nature. We operate on an appointment basis,
with an assessment lasting about an hour. When it is over, the client leaves
having completed a detailed questionnaire online, having reviewed its results,
and possessing a hard-copy of his or her personal profile.
We believe that all people can learn and that they do so in ways that are
personally unique. We also believe that developing an awareness of oneself
- an ongoing understanding of how one learns and works - provides a person
with a much needed edge in a highly competitive world. Most importantly, however,
is the reason why Learn in Style was created: to help make life-long learning
and working more successful, more enjoyable and personally rewarding.
